This weekend I raced at Psycho Nitro Blast in White Pine Tennessee.
I would first like to say a huge thank you for all of the support this weekend from my followers. I’ve never had so many likes, comments, messages etc. since I began racing as I did this weekend. That meant so much to me and I’m sorry if I missed anyone’s comments, I tried to acknowledge them all.
This weekend I raced at Psycho Nitro Blast in White Pine Tennessee. I was happy with the layout and the Leap of Faith was a killer feature! Thanks to Dave, Bobby, Jacob, Lance and the whole Racetime Entertainment crew that made this event happen, it was a great time.
I ran intermediate e-buggy and e-truggy. My racing results didn’t turn out anything like I’d hoped but overall it was a fun weekend of racing. The majority of the time I ran green reflex. Both of my e-buggy quals were rough, putting me 12th in the B-main. My car was on pace in the main and I was on the tail of the bump spot until I hit the pipe after the back table top. I finished fourth, less than 2 seconds from the bump spot. I was very disappointed in myself because I knew I could have done better than that. I planned to build off this for my truggy A-main.
I ran green reflex in both my truggy qualifiers. The second qual I was in 5th until I rolled it at the end of the straight. I ended up qualifying 8th overall in the A Main so I was very proud of myself for making it straight in to the top ten. I switched to green relapse for the A-main and that was a very bad choice for me although the tire was phenomenal in the main for several others that ran it. It was certainly the faster tire but I struggled to control my truck with it on. The first lap, I got tangled up with other trucks that wrecked and that put me right near the back. I was aiming for a top 5 finish as I knew I was absolutely capable of it but finished 16th unfortunately. So yeah, my racing weekend was tough but you can’t win em all. I’ll get em next time!
Big thanks to my dad for all the work he puts into my cars. Congrats to the Fullers for their podium finishes this weekend. Thank you to all of my sponsors.
