Another edition of the Thailand International Touring Car Championship TITC has finished!
Another edition of the Thailand International Touring Car Championship TITC has finished! 6th overall this time. Not what I wanted, but considering it's one of the most competitive and challenging TC races on the calendar, there's still positives to bring back with this result. To summarise my finals - bit of a struggle. In A1, I had an unforseen electronic issue which meant that I was late to the grid. No warmup lap, so my start was slow, and eventually I got crashed from behind which resulted in a broken bodyshell. In A2 I didn't have quite the pace, but still managed to hold on to 4th overall. In A3, in the cooler evening conditions, I struggled with a car that was a bit too on edge, with a loose rear. After a couple of poor laps, I fell back to 6th, where I also finished overall!
It's frustrating to leave the event with a 6th place knowing that on some days, the pace was good enough for something much better. All I can try and do is to take note, analyse the data, and try and come back stronger next year! This remains one of my absolute favourite events!
Congrats as always to my team mate Bruno Coelho RC Driver for the TQ and win!
I'm flying back to Europe tonight, and will now have a much needed break in the racing schedule after two intense months! Thanks as always to all my sponsors, friends & everyone else that supports me! Last but not least to my understanding family ❤️
