Overall Qualyfying after #3 Rounds

The biggest surprise for me is Mad Man Marco Baruffolo on the new Tekno ride Marco would edge out Canas in Q2 to take the TQ of Q2. Marco would follow that up with a 2nd place finish in Q3 to give him second for the day.

Qualifying #2 Rankings

Pretty Ricky Berton sits in 3rd with the INFINITY car after finishing 2nd in Q1 and a close 3rd behind fellow countryman Baruffolo in Q3.

Elliot Boots is your 4th qualifier followed by Theo Lemaire in 5th a lesser known talent who is making some big waves at this race.

Alex Zanchettin (8th)

Leonardo Valente (10th)

Rayan Medjoubi (13th)

Current World Champion Team AE's Davide Ongaro is having a quiet schmedium qualifying run in 6th. While this is still good, we have gotten used to seeing the Italian TQing or in the top 3 at these events.

The Kilic Brothers not attending the Warm up race is showing its effects with Berkan in 14th and Burak in 23rd.

Bruno Coelho fresh off his Onroad win at the Snowbirds looks to be finding the transition to 1/8th nitro a bit difficult with a forgettable 26th.

The best thing about the Montpellier GP is the finals are IFMAR style so we get to see all these guys race into the A final tomorrow. There shoud be some great racing tomorrow and the threat of rain tomorrow throws another spanner in the spokes of the Montpellier GP. Lucklily as we saw in 2020 the track crew knows how to prepare the track after the rain.

I am looking forward to the action in the finals tomorrow, the fast guys that didn’t have a great day today will have a chance to race in tomorrow in the lower finals. The racing will be fast and furious as these drivers battle it out for the glory of being #1. Who do you think will win the GP this year?
