The 1/28 scale was never an easy and cheap hobby to start with and probably this could be one of the reasons why most people choose to give this a miss and start on other scales instead. We sincerely hope to get more people started in this hobby and hence we started reaching out to manufactures to help produce quality hobby grade car kits at low cost.
Most of the low-cost car kits are toy grade not hobby grade. When the stocks parts are broken you won’t be able to buy replacement parts for it, the car kit might not even be repairable in the first place. Secondly, these car kits are also not designed and tested on proper racing platforms.
We are pleased to announced our collaboration with Sino Hobby, combined with our racing experiences to bring you the MRC-01. A good quality but low-cost beginner’s hobby grade car kit that is compatible with almost all 1/28 scale parts from various major brand manufacturers.
Every single stock part on this car kit is available for sale and is user replaceable. No low-cost car kits have ever provided support in this way before.
A dedicated social media page will be created and heavily maintained to host and post video tutorials on tips and tricks to guide you on how to replace broken parts and also fine tuning your MRC-01 to maximise its potential. Users can also share their setup and post questions if any. We want more people to be able to start this hobby at a low and affordable cost, so please support us to grow this hobby together.
